Best Congress Stock Tracker Apps (2026)

Updated · Prices as of Oct 2026, from each company's own pages

Every app here reads the same public records: the stock trades members of Congress must report under the STOCK Act, and for some, the President's reports and the big funds' 13F filings. They differ in price, in who they cover, in how they tell you about a new trade, and in whether you can check each trade against the original filing.

Here is an honest look at six of them. Disclosed is ours, so we keep to facts you can check, and we say where the others do more.

Capitol Trades

Best for: Browsing Congress trades on a computer, at no cost

Capitol Trades is a website from the data firm 2iQ Research that lists the stock trades House and Senate members disclose. Its own pages say it is free for the public.

What it does well

  • You can browse without an account.
  • Each trade page links to the original filing ("View Original Filing").
  • Pages for politicians, companies, states and committees.

Keep in mind

  • We found no iPhone or Android app on its site.
  • New trades go out in a weekly newsletter and on its X account; we found no alerts for the politicians you follow.
  • We found no pages for the President's trades or for funds' 13F filings.

Quiver Quantitative

Best for: Researchers who want many datasets, or an API

Quiver Quantitative is a data platform: Congress trades sit beside lobbying, government contracts, corporate insider filings, institutional holdings and more. Premium is $25 a month or $300 a year.

What it does well

  • Covers Congress, with a Donald Trump stock trades page and institutional holdings.
  • Many other datasets, and an API sold as its own subscription.
  • Apps for iPhone and Android.

Keep in mind

  • Its alerts are a pre-market email on Premium, plus watchlist notifications in the app.
  • We found no links to the original filings on its Congress trading, Nancy Pelosi or Donald Trump pages.
  • Copying runs through its partner Quantbase, on Premium.

Unusual Whales

Best for: Options traders who want Congress trades in the same tool

Unusual Whales is an options-flow platform with a politics section for House and Senate trades and a Donald J Trump profile.

What it does well

  • Congress trades next to options flow, dark pool data and institutional holders.
  • Custom alerts on the site, in the mobile app and by push, on paid plans.

Keep in mind

  • Paid plans are $50 to $120 a month ($42 to $102 a month billed yearly); the free tier runs 2 trading days behind.
  • We found no links to the original filings on its disclosure pages.

Autopilot

Best for: Having trades placed for you in a linked brokerage

Autopilot connects to your brokerage and places trades to match the portfolios you pick, such as its Pelosi Tracker+, the Mullin Tracker, fund trackers and Donald Trump's Stock Portfolio from the Pilot Unusual Whales.

What it does well

  • Trades are placed for you, and your money stays in your own brokerage account.
  • Apps for iPhone and Android.

Keep in mind

  • Premium costs $29.99 to $199.99 a quarter per Pilot (whoever built the portfolio), with a $500 minimum per portfolio, per its Form ADV of March 31, 2026.
  • The Basic Tier has no Autopilot fee but makes only the first allocation; later trades are not placed for you.
  • The same filing says Autopilot intends to add a yearly fee of 0.25% to 1% of assets on Premium.
  • You need an account at one of its supported brokerages; its FAQ offers international customers a waitlist.

dub

Best for: US investors who want a brokerage that copies for them

dub is a brokerage app: you open a dub account, tap Copy, and it mirrors the portfolio you pick. Its politician portfolios, like the Nancy Pelosi Portfolio, are Premium portfolios run by dub Advisors, and it has hedge fund trackers built on 13F filings.

What it does well

  • Copying happens inside its own brokerage, with no outside account to link.
  • Brokerage accounts are SIPC-insured up to $500,000, per its site.
  • Apps for iPhone and Android.

Keep in mind

  • A membership is needed to use the app's features; the App Store lists Premium at $9.99 or $12.99 a month, or $89.99 to $119.99 a year.
  • Premium portfolios, the politician ones included, may add an advisory fee, generally 0% to 2.50% a year.
  • Open to US citizens with a Social Security number and a US address.
  • Its Trump Portfolio follows companies tied to Trump's donors and policy priorities, not his disclosed trades.
  • We found no links to the original filings on its website or help center.
