Version 2026-09-10.
Effective date: 2026-09-10
This policy explains what Marchie Enterprises LLC, doing business as Disclosed ("Disclosed", "we", "us"), collects when you use disclosedhq.com and the Disclosed apps (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read.
1. What we collect
Account information. Your email address (used to sign you in with a one-time link), an optional display name, your notification preferences, and a record of when you accepted our Terms (the time, the version, and the IP address).
Subscription and payment. Stripe processes payments. We receive your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan status, and the last four digits and brand of your card for display. We never receive or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy is at https://stripe.com/privacy.
Brokerage connection data. If you connect a brokerage account, SnapTrade handles the login with your brokerage. We receive, and store, a SnapTrade user identifier and secret, your connected brokerage's name, account identifiers and names, account balances, positions, and the status and details of orders you confirm through the Service. We never receive your brokerage username or password. SnapTrade's privacy policy is at https://snaptrade.com/privacy. The SnapTrade secret is a credential that enables access to your brokerage data; we treat it as sensitive personal information: it is encrypted at rest, used only to serve your requests, and deleted when you disconnect.
Mirroring choices. Who you follow or mirror, the dollar amounts you choose (where that feature is enabled), and the orders you preview and confirm.
Usage information. Pages viewed, actions taken (such as following a politician), device and browser type, IP address, and approximate location derived from it. We use cookies for sign-in sessions and, if you consent where required, for analytics.
Notifications. If you enable push notifications, a device push token. If you email us, the email and our reply.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and the Service is offered only to US residents.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service: sign you in, show your account, compute and preview orders, and send the orders you confirm to your brokerage.
- To bill you and manage your subscription.
- To send notifications you have asked for, and account and legal notices we must send.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
- To understand how the Service is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it.
- To comply with law, keep required records, and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising pixels or retargeting tags on the Service. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and provide the choices the law requires. We do not use your brokerage data to train any model or to market to you.
3. Who we share it with
Service providers that process data for us under contract: Stripe (payments), SnapTrade (brokerage connections and order routing), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database hosting), and any analytics or error-monitoring provider we use, which we will name here. Each receives only what it needs for its function.
Your brokerage receives the orders you confirm, through SnapTrade, under your own brokerage agreement.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, to protect our rights or the safety of users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to the transferred data.
4. Public-figure data
The Service displays information about public officials and well-known investors drawn from their public filings. That data is about them, not about our users, and is published by the government and the SEC.
5. Retention
- Account and subscription records: while your account is open and for five years after it closes, the first two of those years readily accessible, so that we can resolve disputes and meet record-keeping rules that may apply to us.
- Order and proposal records: five years from the date of the order, on the same basis.
- Brokerage connection secrets: deleted when you disconnect the brokerage or close your account.
- Push tokens: deleted when you sign out of the device or after 12 months without use.
- Usage logs: 12 months, then deleted or aggregated.
- Support emails: three years.
6. Security
Brokerage secrets are encrypted at rest with a key held separately from the database. Sign-in uses one-time links rather than passwords. Data moves over encrypted connections, and access to our systems requires multi-factor authentication. We maintain a written information security program. No system is perfectly secure, and you should keep your email account secure since it controls access to your Disclosed account.
If a breach affects your data, we will notify you by email without unreasonable delay, and within any period the law requires, with what happened, what information was involved, and what we are doing about it.
7. Your choices and rights
- Notifications: turn email and push notifications on or off in your account settings or by the link in any email.
- Brokerage: disconnect any brokerage at any time from your Account page; this removes our stored connection.
- Access, correction, deletion: delete your account yourself at any time at disclosedhq.com/account/delete or in the app (More, then Delete my account); it takes effect immediately and removes your email, name, follows, push tokens, brokerage connections and sessions. Or email invest@disclosedhq.com and we will provide, correct, or delete your personal information within 30 days. Either way, the records we must keep under Section 5 stay, without your name.
- California residents. Whether or not the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to us at our current size, we honor its core rights for California residents: to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law. To exercise these rights, email invest@disclosedhq.com; we will verify your identity through your account email.
- Do Not Track: we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals; we honor the choices above instead.
8. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a preference cookie for the site's settings. If we use analytics cookies, we will ask for consent where the law requires it. You can clear cookies in your browser; you will need to sign in again.
9. United States only
The Service is operated from the United States and offered only to US residents. Your information is processed in the United States.
10. Changes
We will post changes here and, for material changes, email you or show a notice on the Service before they take effect.
